AAAA Driving Academy (also referred to as Quad A Driving Academy) was started in 2006 when a local school teacher bought the driver training business unit from AAA Mid-Atlantic in Wilkes-Barre and changed the name to AAAA Driving Academy.

Quad A continued to grow as it provided driver training to new drivers that desired a Pennsylvania driver’s license. The company has helped adults and thousands of teenagers from various high schools throughout Luzerne and parts of Lackawanna counties to obtain their driver’s license.

In 2013 Quad A Driving Academy was sold to Dennis Ferenchick. Dennis is a long time local resident and Wilkes University honors graduate. Dennis obtained his PA Driving Instructor credentials while working for AAA Mid-Atlantic in Wilkes-Barre as he was attending Wilkes University. Since acquiring Quad A, Dennis has expanded it’s fleet of cars and increased the team of instructors. This was done to better serve the growing demand for quality and safe driving instruction for teen drivers, their parents and for first time adult drivers.
